I am a Hospitality / Commercial Cookery Trainer and Assessor. I have extensive culinary experience having worked in the Hospitality Industry for over 20 years in various establishments throughout Sydney, Newcastle, Lake Macquarie and the Hunter Valley regions.
I hold the TAE40116 credential to train and assess others, and have qualifications and vocational experience in commercial cookery.

As an experienced and professional chef with more than 20 years’ of extensive experience driving kitchen operations & preparing culinary food within the industry, I am well positioned to guide the next generation within my industry.
My background experience has taken me to various locations around the NSW Region. Throughout these positions I have delivered exceptional operational support, creating menus, liaising with clients and suppliers as well as working in collaboration with my team members to ensure seamless food and beverage services for large and small scale venues. Effectively managing special requests and leading motivated staff, to managing supplies and ensuring full regulatory compliance. I excel at overseeing all facets of kitchen operations while providing outstanding levels of customer service and satisfaction.
Highlights of my experience include being part of the team to lead The Observatory Hotel in Sydney to the esteemed awards for Best Boutique Hotel in Australia and 4th Best Boutique Hotel in the World. During this time I also received a Chefs’ Hat Award for 5 consecutive years’.
I have had extensive experience in managing kitchen operations, dealing with industry representatives, management and staff over the years and believe that this experience would be of great value to any RTO looking to hire a quality, industry current trainer and assessor.
