The belief there is a niche gap between an experienced VET Professional and the expertise of a high-level VET Consultant is why The RTO Office was established in 2018 as a way to provide support to Registered Training Organisations (RTOs).
Tracey Silcox is the founder of The RTO Office and has worked in the VET industry for over 15 years: in the school system, in both large and small RTOs,as well as in an organisation providing professional development and consulting services to the VET Industry.
The RTO Office provides assistance with the administrative compliance associated with running an RTO, including for those that hold CRICOS registration and government funded contracts. Services from The RTO Office include overseeing the roll out, administration, reporting and ongoing compliance required to meet contractual obligations. The RTO Office team provide assistance in the ‘doing’ and carry out of compliance and high-level administration activities not feasible to engage a top tier consultant to complete They do however, have contacts with VET Consultants who are experienced and knowledgeable in all aspects of the VET industry, and where activities fall beyond the scope of The RTO Office’s core function, will provide RTOs with links to other consultants with this type of expertise.
As a VET Professional experienced in achieving and maintaining compliant processes, Tracey encourages a proactive rather than reactive approach, believing this is a key component to the success of any Registered Training Organisation.
